She's had several falls during her time on the hit ITV show, resulting in a swollen knee.

And Gemma Collins has been eliminated from Dancing On Ice after falling over twice during rehearsals on Sunday night.

The TOWIE star, 38, found herself in the bottom two with Ryan Sidebottom and Brandee Malto, with the four judges unanimously saving the latter.

And one person on the judging panel who took delight in her departure was Jason Gardiner, who has previously had several feuds with the reality star.

He said: 'It is very easy for me to say this. And it gives me great pleasure to say I will be saving Ryan and Brandee.'

However, Gemma took the comment in her stride and had already foreseen her future on the show after failing to impress with her earlier routine to Destiny's Child's I'm A Survivor.

She revealed after performing her dance-off routine, before the result: 'I really need to go now, I need to hand it down, I'm exhausted as well!'

While after the result, she said on her exit: 'I've had fun and I'm a bit intuitional. I did say: "Tonight is my night, I'm just going to come out and have fun."

'I want to bow out gracefully, let them all go on, best of luck to them, they've been working hard.'

However, Gemma joked that she won't be continuing with the ice skating, she quipped: 'Probably not, no. I have enjoyed working on my fitness, I'm taking you [her skating partner Matt Evers] to Gucci to get you a bag. You've been amazing!'

Gemma managed to keep a steady skate during her live performance earlier in the evening, despite dragging down her skating partner Matt just hours earlier, scoring a 15.5 points.

However, despite not falling, Gemma failed to impress the judges, especially Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, who complained she didn't execute the three practical elements they set her.

With Matt even arguing with the two Olympic medallists, claiming that Gemma did in fact execute one of her set elements.

But Gemma took the critique well, after previously lashing out at Jason on earlier episodes, and revealed she did her best.

She said: 'Fair enough, I'm just trying my best, guys.

'I did my best, I gave it a go, and I had fun!'

Just minutes before her routine, Gemma took to her Instagram to share a video of the nasty accident as she asked her fans for their support.

She revealed in the caption: 'This is what happened in dress rehearsal today I hope it goes ok tonight @dancingonice thank you so much for voting I am Number 6 tonight ... please call or download the app❤️.'

In the dramatic video, it saw Gemma, who was dressed in leopard-print inspired ensemble attempt to do a spin when she lost her footing falling to the floor.

As she fell down, she was still holding onto Matt's hands, as she accidentally dragged him down to floor also.

And this was just the start of hitting the ice as when Gemma tried to get back up on her skates, she fell over once again, dragging her skating partner down again.

However, Gemma saw the funny side as she burst out laughing and giggled with Matt as they lay on the ice on their backs.

In January, the reality star ended up in a wheelchair after she suffered a devastating blow and had a painful fall on the ice during her live routine.

Speaking on the aftermath, Gemma's beau James Argent told The Sun: 'Gemma’s black and blue all over. She's struggling to walk so I had to carry her to the car earlier, and she's been using [her mother] Joan's wheelchair on and off all day because she's in so much pain.

'She’s seeing a private doctor tomorrow who will determine what will happen next. It will be her worst nightmare if she's forced to pull out of the show, she doesn't want to be a sick note, she wants to continue and we strongly believe she's a real contender to win.'

While on This Morning later that week, Gemma's professional skating partner Matt revealed they were able to get back on the ice after she visited a physiotherapist.

Matt also confirmed that Gemma did not 'black out' on the ice as was previously reported as it was confirmed the star would still perform.

He told hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby that Gemma was slowly recovering from her nasty tumble, which came in the middle of her live skating performance.

He said: 'She's good she's still bruised she's still icing her knees but she's back with fighting spirit, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.'

Dancing On Ice continues on Sundays at 6pm on ITV.
